Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

Providing the best possible care to our post-surgical patients is not just a priority—it’s a commitment we take very seriously at FayCo Sport & Spine. We understand how crucial those first days and weeks after surgery are for setting the foundation for a successful recovery.

That’s why we make it a point to schedule every post-surgical patient within 48 hours of referral, so you can begin therapy promptly and avoid unnecessary delays that might slow down your healing process.

Our structured programs restore strength, motion, and function, including:

  • Total knee and hip replacement rehabilitation

  • ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair

  • Rotator cuff and labral repair protocols

  • Lumbar and cervical spinal surgeries

  • Ankle stabilization and Achilles tendon repair

With hands-on experience treating a wide variety of post-operative cases, I’ve seen firsthand how subtle adjustments in treatment and patient education can lead to big improvements. Over time, I’ve gathered specialized knowledge, techniques, and tips and tricks to decrease pain, improve mobility, and do your daily tasks independently while recovering from a big surgery.

Many physical therapists focus solely on the obvious rehab exercises or protocols, but at FayCo Sport & Spine, we believe those “small things”—like managing pain effectively, optimizing sleep, mobility early on, and  giving advice on adaptive tools like a handheld massager to reduce pain after a total knee replacement are what truly transform the post-surgical experience.

These details don’t just make your recovery more comfortable; they often speed it up, reduce the need for pain medications, and help you regain strength and function more confidently and safely.
